The Insurance itself is very good.
I have a problem with the submitting of claim forms. Especially when I see I have done everything and then I find I am missing an invoice or a claim form and having to resubmit again is very time consuming. I am also having problems understanding your claim form website and sometimes I cannot even get to it. I still feel that I have not been reimbursed for flea and tick as the bill is not broken down as to what was paid. The payment is a limp sum figure.

Quick and easy
Overall a very good company with good coverage at a reasonable price. My only wish would be if they were to have their own app for making claims instead of using a third party. Would be nice to have the ability to not only submit a claim (what it currently does) but to also check on its status as it works through the process. Otherwise, very happy with the plan and service.

Best Decision Ever

Being retired and getting a rescue dog made us immediately consider purchasing pet insurance. Getting this policy was one of the best pet decisions I have ever made!
Once again, Trupanion has proven that businesses, even insurance companies, can operate with empathy and respect for their customers while still maintaining the highest standards of care. This is our second TPLO surgery and Trupanion was there for us every step of the way. Bills were immediately addressed leaving us to concentrate on our dog's recovery. This is a special company for pet owners and I can only wish them continued and more success in the future.
