I have submitted two claims for two surgeries my Shih Tzu has had in the past year and Trupanion was a wonderful company to work with. I submitted a predetermination claim for the estimated procedures from the vet so I knew up front if surgeries would be covered. After the surgeries, I submitted actual claims via email and both claims were paid promptly (within a few days each time). I would recommend Trupanion to anyone who wants to carry insurance on their pet. I will say I have found premiums have increased a couple of time since I acquired it in 2018 but I guess that is to be expected. I still feel it has been well worth the cost.

You all could not make it easier to make a claim. Thank you so much for allowing me to give my dogs the best care possible.

Usually, I am not a good sales person, and feel that I am being too personal to recommend anything to people. I did, however, recommend you to my blind guide dog user friends. They were asking about medical insurance for their dogs.
