THIS MEANS I CAN NOT PUT IN ANY MORE CLAIMS AS THE MAX TIME ALLOWED IS 3 MONTHS......SO THE SCAM IS WE ARE WORKING ON YOUR LAST CLAIM..... AND THEN WHEN THE TIME EXPIRES THEY SAY....WE ARE SORRY WE WERE ABOUT TO REFUND YOU BUT THE TIME HAS EXPIRED...... WORST COMPANY EVER.....AND I AM STUCK HERE WITH A DOG WITH PRE EXISTING

I have been very happy with the services provided. It is easy to submit a claim and receive your payment, and even discuss with customer service (a rarity today). Would recommend to anyone for their beloved pet.

i am living in hell with them....my dog has a pre existing condition so i can not go elsewhere they take 9 to 12 weeks to pay out a claim....but you need to submit it many many times they lose mail...email.... overnight mail..... all the time

Having health insurance through HealthyPaws was one of the best thing we could of had done for our tiny fur babies. The claims are easy to file, the process is quick and every time we had called customer service we always got the most thorough answers to our questions. my claims take up to 10 weeks....need 8 phone calls......7 emails..... i re mail the invoices over and over.... and still do not get paid in any reasonable time.... if they find any problem you will need esp to figure it out.....no one knows anything.... my last claim took three months as they never told me they were missing a bit of info on the invoice the claim before that....they lost the original invoice 3x so i use an email with receipt and still they need 15 days to just read it... i can not leave as my dog has a pre condition.....i am stuck in this hell for the next 15 years... warn everyone.... choose another company.....

I took my cat into vet and had a bill for 600$ and most of it they said they would cover and then when I got my reimbursement they only gave me around 130$ with no optio. To discuss the decision of that after . I was highly disappointed

I have a four-year-old mixed breed puppy, who needed surgery for a torn ACL. Needless to say, the operation was quite expensive, but with Healthy Paws I had no worries. The claim was submitted and reviewed within 24 hours. No problems, issues, or questions. Reimbursed the full amount per contract… Can’t ask for anything better. Customer service is excellent. I had to take my 4 year old dog to an emergency vet late one Sunday evening. Turned out she had an anaphylactic reaction to something and she could have died if she didn’t get to a vet. She was given IV, cold plasma, they did an ultrasound and she had to stay there overnight. I have 3 dogs. So you know how many claims I am submitting. Met Life is everything I expected. Customer service helped me with my first submissions. Once you understand their system, everything is a go. I don't think people understand 10-15 days is business days not calendar.. Payment is easy after setting up how you want to receive payment. Thank you Met Life. It takes a lot of worry off me if something goes wrong. The only thing I wish is, a way for Met Life to pay vet at time of visit, so its not such a hard hit on the pocket.
