The claims process was easy. Communications from the company were prompt, and clearly stated next steps and decisions.

The insurance policy itself is a 10, and I’ve compared them all. Initially my claim relating my kitty’s newly diagnosed condition was denied, but to their credit they reversed this decision upon appeal. I wouldn’t change insurance companies.

I'm used to insurance companies seeming to try to find ways to not reimburse. APSCA has been fair and has efficiently and expeditiously reimbursed claimgs as per the policy. They are also supportive and empathic on the phone and reached out to see how our dogs were doing. Feels like family.

We had a claim that was handled fast and effotlessly then our money was deposited directly to our bank.

Great Insurance. Our plan with Midas is Major Medical with $250.00 deductable. Nationwide reimburses in a timely manor always! The ease of submitting a claim is fantastic. Cost for our plan for our 87 lb 3yr old lab hound is currently approx 34.00 per month. Much easier to handle that than to pull money from savings on the possibility of a big expensive treatment.

Where to begin... after a simple urinary tract infection in our frenchie that still hasn’t been covered to the emergency follow up, embrace hasn’t made this easy or a priority. After persistently dealing with our veterinary clinic, and multiple assurances that they sent everything needed, almost two months later 2 out of three visits still aren’t processed. And after being told embrace had contacted our vet for the info they needed, and then being told by the vet techs that no one had reached out to them. I despise dishonesty, nor will I stand for this deliberate lack of care from a pet insurance company. I am not out to scam or fleece, but when my four legged kids are sick they are getting better care than I am, so we are going to the veterinarian. That’s why we have insurance. If embrace continues to act this way, we will be dealing with another company that actually cares and prioritizes it’s customers.

I have used Nationwide, formerly VPI insurance for my dogs for 14 years and do annual cost comparisons with other plans based on my claims over the past year. Consistently I find Nationwide to give me the best value for my money. Their customer service is hands down top notch. I have had vet offices make errors on claim forms and Nationwide staff is always super helping me get those corrected. Hassle free insurance!

Have had to use the benefit more than I would have liked (because it means my dog has been sick), but I'm sure glad I have the insurance. Only wish the claims processing was faster.

Our catty was super healthy but I went ahead and got the Nationwide plan anyway, for teeth cleaning and wellness. ALMOST cancelled it and I’m so glad I didn’t. She is having some issues and the insurance makes decision making so much easier. Claims are super easy and paid in a timely manner - and with electronic payments it’s even easier. Thank you!!
