Worth the $
Trupanion is definitely one of the more expensive insurances on the market- however - you get what you pay for! I added the alternative therapy rider to my German Shepherd's plan and when he hurt his shoulder my claim was paid out without any additional questions asked - from 2 different vets for the one injury. What would have cost me nearly $1300 was a lot less. I am able to get my dog the care he needs to heal. In this case, it was cold laser therapy. And I can take my insurance overseas with me for our next duty station.

I'd like to give a pat on the back to the young lady named Kimberly, that reached me by telephone to inquire about how I thought the claim was handled, and how Snowball is doing She should be commended on her telephone etiquette and customer relations! Thank You!!!

Cannot Live Without Healthy Paws!!!
My 3 year old pit bull mix, Indy, has had everything from mange, to ringworm, to kennel cough, to a heart murmur. 10 days ago he had his SECOND TPLO surgery for a torn CCL (ACL). That was two surgeries, one for each knee. These procedures were possible because of Healthy Paws. They have been a true lifesaver. They are everything they advertise and more. I receive my 80% check literally no more than 5 days after they confirm that the procedure has been covered. BTW, they cover what they say they will…with no questions asked. In the past year they have paid approximately 20 claims! The total for these has to be over $7,000… Like I said, we can't live without Healthy Paws!

AWESOME! AMAZING! 100% recommend them
Trupainion customer service and compassion were outstanding. My 14 week old puppy had an ear infection and an oral cancer scare. Trupanion answered all of my questions, got pre approval for the surgery, and sent our reimbursement check out within days of the surgery. I am very thankful for Trupanion, they paid for the ear infection and tumor to be removed from my puppy's mouth at 90%. They helped make an anxious time for us concerning our puppy's health bearable and we ended up getting cancer free results!

Highly Recommend - Super Pleased!
I am very pleased with Healthy Paws! I insured my puppy at 8 weeks, choosing the 90%, $100 deductible. You always hope you will not need it, but if you do, you can count on HP. The service is fantastic - claims made easy and paid quickly. Best decision I have made to ensure my dog gets great veterinary care when she needs it.

My experience "Pawsitively" exceeded expectation.
If your Vet said the estimate is going to be $2,000; $5,000 or $10,000 could you afford to pay that without hardship? You never know when an accident or illness will strike your pet. Whether you will pay $100.00 or thousands of dollars it is a great comfort to know that if you have to make a decision for your pet's health and well being the decision will not be based on your financial status because you have reliable financial coverage. The service and concern for Beacon was immeasurable. I'm "Pawsitively" satisfied and am grateful to have Healthy Paws insurance.

Always need insurance as my rescue pets age..
My female puppy mill rescue Corgi, Grace, has been having seizures in her recent senior years. She was healthy for the first 4 years I had her then she started having seizures. Wehave had to file various claims and ASPCA was always prompt in the refunds, explaining any questions that arose and seemed to really show concern for my pets health always!

Definitely choose Healthy Paws insurance!
We purchased the low deductible/high reimbursement ($100/90%)plan through Healthy Paws after doing some research into plans and reading reviews online. Our beagle is 11 and as he has a voracious appetite for things which are bad for him, so we thought it would be a good idea. And boy was it! Recently, he became ill and we had to take him to our regular vet, the emergency vet, and finally an internist, and those visits together were about $1500. With the insurance, we had about $500 out-of-pocket cost which is definitely more feasible than $1500. I don't ever want to have to decline treatment for my "dog child" because of money. This insurance has been wonderful and definitely worth the cost. We are extremely comforted knowing that we have this great insurance and can pursue necessary treatments that we might not otherwise be able to, in order to help him. They also e-mailed me a few weeks later to check on my dog and see how he was doing, which was totally unexpected but very much appreciated!
