I think nationwide should get a higher rating as far as pet insurance when you file a claim it is taking care, gives we me a lot of confidence when my dog has medical needs thanks for your support, I have been recommending your company to all the pet owners I know.

Service that they provide is top notch! Recently my 15 month puppy became ill with pneumonia and was not responding to the anabiotic’s. During the month she was hospitalized overnight 5 different times at two different emergency hospitals. We had multiple rounds of x-rays and bloodwork as well as two medical procedures that needed Anastasia. My puppy is a rescue and I had only had her insured with Healthy Paws for three months. During the month she was ill I called Healthy Paws a few times because I was concerned about the rising vet costs nearing $10,000.00 and if they were going to continue covering her. The customer service agents were so kind, they listened with compassion and support and assured me they would continue to cover her medical procedures. Their only concern was that my puppy get better. I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance!

I regret switching to Embrace from Pets Best
I submitted my first two claims ever with Embrace and had a terrible customer experience. The mere act of submitting was confusing in and of itself. After I searched the website to find a claim form that is required with every submission, I had to utilize the chat system because the form is confusion - does not provide clear direction. It uses words like "my pet" which made me think the form must be filled out by the pet owner, but, after chatting, I learned that it must be filled out by the vet. So, my vet fills out and submits the forms. I ask about status after a week or so and so they called Embrace. They said that Embrace said they needed more information, when, in fact, they did not. Apparently this is a go-to statement because they assume receiving incomplete work. I learned that they *did* need more information but from another vet (the 24/7 emergency vet) and they took their good old time getting the paperwork from them. I had been waiting for over a month. If they cared about customer service, they would have nagged at the emergency vet until they received the paperwork because I'm Embrace's client and they should want to provide for their clients. When reached out to Embrace demanding a status update, I got the backhanded apology where they cited their policy to me. I realize you have a policy to follow for first-time claims but your lack of urgency created a very frustrating experience for me. I wasn't informed with progress updates and had to reach out to my vet several times. Thank goodness for the vet who did a lot of the work coordinating. One month and 15 days later, I received partial payment. Now I'm stuck with Embrace because my cat now has a pre-existing condition. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING EMBRACE!

Top Notch Company
You guys are the best... I have three pets (My kids) I insured with you and every time that I had to file a claim - the response time of payment was not extremely fast without any issues! I thank you guys so much, as do my “Kids”!!!

Nationwide Pet Insurance not only pays claims promptly but it is seamless getting the actual payment in your personal account.
When we decided to purchase pet insurance several years ago we compared several companies and Nationwide was the best without a doubt. We have not been disappointed!

Glad I made the decision
I have never had pet insurance before and I am very glad I made the decision to do so when we purchased two Olde English bulldogs. Our male swallowed a toy and had surgery which also led to an emergency stay over the weekend. Pets Best took care of everything the policy stated in a timely manner. They sent emails regarding the status of the claim and money was direct deposited as promised. Thank you
