Flexible Coverage and Worked With Me Figure out Coverage!

I just FINALLY got pet insurance this year for my Hannah (age 11) and Embrace was one of the few who offered Wellness to cover the ongoing costs of fleas/ticks/vaccines which I really appreciate! I also got illness and injury - in reviewing some previous medical charts for possible pre-existing conditions that would not be covered. There was some unclear and vague documentation from a previous dental exam that potentially would exempt cancer coverage. Embrace worked with me to help understand what specifically I needed to work with my Vet. I really appreciated how they worked with me, giving me specifics so to help save both my Vet and I's time to make sure in the future, should my Hannah have a need for Cancer insurance repayment, it would be there as expected. I've already recommended Embrace to all my friends and family.

Embrace always has my back!

Our Lab mix has been "embraced" since we brought him home almost 11 years ago. Since then he has had one leg ailment after another -- all covered by Embrace! Beyond that, the "Embracers" have taken a genuine interest in our pup so it feels like dealing with old friends when we make a claim. We couldn't be happier!

Insurance is always a hassle, but they are courteous, direct, and honest.

I have had pets best for my dog for a year now. i started the insurance when the puppy was born. They offer to 'opt in' to preventative services including spay neuter and puppy vaccines. In my eyes this is was worth the extra $10 -15 a month. Wellness coverage covers about 50% of the expenses. Additionally most lab fees are not covered. We will continue with pets best for our pets needs. He is a healthy pure breed from a AKC registered breeder so we aren't worried about hip, vision or dental issues or long term care. Pets Best plans do not excel in those areas anyway. Still, we carry insurance for preventative health services and emergency health service. It fits our needs at a competitive price (even if it isn't the lowest price)

ASPCA Pet Insurance Saved My Dog'S Life

Absolutely. My dog had knee surgerywhen she was three years old. It was expensive but not as expensive as what followed the surgery. Her immune system crashed because she had been prescribed too much Apoquel for too long a period of time. Her vet said she would be on this medication for life. She nearly died from bacterial infections she had no way to fight. Without this insurance I would not have been able to pay for either of the issues in a timely manner. Thank you ASPCA for caring and being there. The follow up calls inquiring about how my pet was doing is very nice as well. Again, thank you.

Best investment we have ever made.

We have had our insurance on our fur baby within 24 hours of bringing her home. I have been very pleased with your prompt service and that we receive our money back in our account within three days.

Do not cover exams

Trupanion says that they cover 90% of costs but it's not true - they do NOT cover any examination fees. You should know this before buying the plan. Our dog just broke his leg. The bill totaled almost $6000 for surgery and 2 nights in the hospital. After the $200 deductible Trupanion only ended up paying about 80% of the costs - they denied any cost related to examinations. Luckily they could not claim that his broken leg was due to a pre-existing condition, but I have read several other complaints about Trupanion denying claims when they determine that the illness was pre-existing. Would ONLY recommend them if you have a young, perfectly healthy pet at the time of purchase.

Excellent Insurance!

Took our pup in for his yearly exam. Everything from head to toe exam. Micro-chipping, stool sample, all shots wellness and heartguard medication. Almost everything covered. It was such a great feeling knowing that I can get him taken care of and it's not going to break the bank every time we walk into the vets office. Highly recommend to everyone with pets! We now signed up our new puppy and he goes next month for his complete exam!

A Walk in the Park

This is the 1st time I ever covered my pet with insurance. I was skeptical at first but I knew having a puppy meant properly caring for him. Our first Vet appointment resulted in vaccinations as well as examinations and I just knew I would pay an arm and leg for the visit. Well, the cost was only $154.00 out of pocket and I was reimbursed $105.00 which in my eyes is AWESOME!!!! I really only paid for part of the examination. It pays to have the Major Med Plan with wellness rider. Thanks Nationwide, I hope all my reimbursements are as great as this!
