Easy, transparent, and quick.
I’ve had two claims through ASPCA. They were easy to submit and the company processed them quickly. The coverage was clearly explained and matched my policy, and I received repayment within a few weeks of submitting the claims. I wish my health insurance was this transparent and easy to use!

Amy, the Pet Insurance Specialist....
Amy, the Pet Insurance Specialist I spoke with was extremely professional, courteous, and concerned about my questions. I received a letter stating that my veterinarian did not respond to your inquiry to settle my claim.

The insurance was a huge relief at a very stressful time
We are so grateful that we had Total Coverage Insurance with ASPCA. Our 7 year dachshund ruptured the disc in the middle of her back as she ran to the fence barking at a deer. She immediately lost use of her back legs. We rushed her into the critical care animal hospital and meet with the neurology department. She needed to have a MRI and the results confirmed she needed to go right into surgery on her spine. My husband and I didn't have to think about how we were going to pay the $8200 bill. We knew we had insurance for a good portion of the cost. Within a few weeks after her surgery we received a check for $5000 from ASPCA. It was wonderful to put that immediately against the bill. After her 6 weeks of recovery she was able to walk again and now after 7 months she has made a full recovery and is back to playing, running about, and walking every day. Life is good.

ASPCA has been a great partner in the wellness of my dog
ASPCA has insured my boxer for the past 8 years since she was 11 weeks old. Sydney is and always has been an extremely active and rambunctious dog since the day we brought her home. She has gotten herself into trouble through the years and ASPCA has always been there for us to help cover the vet bills to get and keep her healthy. When I picked my coverage I selected the 3rd option out of 4 and have always been satisfied with my selection as they have helped me afford her care from paying to pull tree fern fibers out of her tonsils (twice), chronic pancreatitis and recently a major surgery on her stifle (knee) referred to as TPLO. The last was a very costly surgery and ASPCA was right there with me to help cover the costs. I feel that ASPCA has been a wonderful partner these past 8 years in helping me keep Sydney happy and healthy and I plan on being a part of this partnership through the rest of her life and hopefully with any future pets as well!

Embrace does what they say they will do!
I've been with Embrace since my dog was a puppy and we've been through plenty of scrapes that needed emergency vet. care. Embrace never questions what the vet bills; they pay 90% of the amount charged. They do it promptly and are always kind, caring when I call. This last time it took 3 different vets to troubleshoot all my dog's problems and one claim left diagnosis open- meaning they found nothing wrong for sure, but Embrace still treated it as an illness and paid the claim. 2 vet soon after that diagnosed multiple problems and Embrace paid all 3 bills quickly and fairly.

Another save-the-day coverage
My 17mo GSD Kalyx experienced aspiration pneumonia. No indication other than he had signs of breathing difficulty - I took him to the local ER, then our vet, then overnight to our critical care facility. The first 2 X-rays said he was getting worse, but miraculously he responded to treatment. He never looked like he was sick after the third round of treatment! Embrace covered every treatment and was so compassionate to talk to when I called. Although I don't personally know the Embrace staff, I consider them friends after this plus a past devastating loss. Please consider me as a lifelong, devoted client.

The best comfort in my worst days - and after
My 10mo baby Baron fell victim to a previously trusted dog sitter while we were out of the country. After days of neglect, he was seen by three veterinary centers: our own vet, then our regional specialty care hospital, then a last ditch effort visit to try ventilation at the last, best facility available. He died in my brother's arms, with me crying goodbye on speakerphone. Embrace never asked questions about our many claims, during our grief. Embrace's staff sent us a condolence card, hand signed by over a dozen employees. Embrace created an online "lighted" candle for a month for Baron, and sent that website to me to share. This compassionate response is above and beyond any company I've ever encountered. Every memory I have of those final days - and what could have been a worse financial insult - is in part softened by the compassion Embrace showed my family in our grief and recovery.

Pleasantly surprised!
My little pup was less than 3 months old when she broke her paw. This being my first dog I had no clue how to deal with the situation or how much it was going to cost. I knew that the breeder had included 1 month of insurance as part of my agreement which covered a maximum of $1000. I knew that a broken paw was going to cost much more than that... I called Pets Plus from the animal hospital when I found out that the surgery was going to cost $3500. I didn't know how I was going to cover the expense and explained the situation. The representative that I spoke to gave me several options for accidents and illness and informed me that if I registered for a policy that day then by the time my pup goes in for her surgery they next day the policy will be active and her surgery expenses will be 90% covered.
I was actually quite shocked that they were willing to cover this expense even when they knew that my puppy was already hurt and how much the surgery was going to cost. Needless to say I was super happy and impressed with their exceptional service. The icing on the cake is that I was reimbursed within 3 weeks!
I highly recommend Pets Plus and am super happy with their service!
