Questions were answered well but a little bit impatient when asking about the banking information. Not as cheerful as some of the other representatives I’ve talked to (which were honestly a 10)

Excellent customer service
I have called the customer service line several times now and every time I am connected with a great representative. The two women that I spoke to are so helpful and friendly. I have received nothing short of the best of customer service. I am beyond happy with this!

Positive, quick reimbursement
I have to say, I filed my first claim and was really scared in the outcome after reading the negative reviews. I promptly sent in the claim form (via online) with my itemized receipt and they did exactly what they said they would. I wanted to put my positive comment in here to ease the minds of someone that may be feeling nervous filing their first claim.
So far so good!

Some concerns
I have some concerns on the results of my conversation with George. He was super helpful but I am still not happy with the results of our conversation. If something appears to not make sense then it needs to be reviewed. I would be more than willing to discuss this further.

Polite
Everyone has always been so incredibly nice, polite, and helpful anytime I have called customer service. The fact that they call my dog by name throughout the whole conversation and even as simple as saying they hope me and Dondi (my dog) have a great day, makes them stand out in the customer service world!

Olive's Jumping off the Couch
I am pleased to have Nationwide Insurance for my puppy, Olive. I adopted her from my friend in beginning of November and was recommended to have a pet insurance policy for emergency. I have applied for the Nationwide Insurance for Olive in December 25, 2016. The policy became effective on January 7, 2017.
I am glad that I have purchased the Major-Medical Plan through Nationwide. On Friday, January 20, 2017, Olive jumped off the couch and sustained transverse fracture to left ulna and radius. I was not expecting such an Emergency like this and was not sure about how to claim or apply insurance through the vet. When I called the customer service, I was immediately informed on filing insurance claim and I was told that the claim will be reviewed within 15 days and the reimbursement will be sent within 30 days of the claim. I had to pay $325 for the splint at the time of treatment out of pocket on Friday and $2480 by using the Care Card for plate placement on Monday. The total amount minus $250 for deductible was approved and reimbursed within 11 days of filing the claim.
One thing that I would love to see is the insurance coverage being approved first that way I do not have to pay upfront to risk me from getting into the financial jeopardy.
