Trupanion was very helpful

My experience with Trupanion has always been good. I have no complaints.

I learned the hard way not having my pets insured. She was injured. Needing back surgery on her spine. You will do for your pets as they are your family. Without insurance it was a several thousand dollar charge. With our recent pets we will always carry insurance. It not only covers health coverage, but also accidents that can and do occur. A deductible as you chose. Will reimburse monies for different charges. Well worth the cost as it is for your family emergency needs.

The Customer Dept. is very professional but the claims department needs improvement in settling claims. Takes a very long time to get reimbursement. I had to call three times to find out the status of my claim. Very frustrating.

STAY AWAY from this company. They used a routine stool check that was negative on our new puppy that any responsible pet owner does as a "precondition" to deny a claim 2 months later even when the Veterinarian says they are in no way related. I am in the never ending appeals process and not holding my breath. When you complain, they have a rep reach out to you to act like they care when in fact they could care less. She must be their damage control person. If you check out BBB and consumer affairs you will see may, many consumers that were duped like me thinking that they were working with a reputable company. There should be a class action lawsuit. Also the time taken to handle the claim in the box below does not give you the correct options.

I cannot say enough great things about Healthy Paws. We have 2 bulldogs and both are on the plan. One of our poor dogs has had multiple health problems this year. We've had to pay out over $10,000 in bills. Unrelated issues and each time huge bills. From a cherry eye to a leg operation and an ER visit. We would have gone bankrupt but thank god for Healthy Paws. Each time they paid out as agreed. No push back no weird exclusions. We had the 90% reimbursement checks before the credit card bill was even due. I tell every friend and pet owner I meet. You have to get this health insurance. All you do is take a photo of the bill from the vet and submit. Takes 5 seconds. They even call and email to check how our dog is doing. Just the nicest, most unexpected company I've dealt with in many years.

Pets Best is the very best for coverage, claims payment, and concern for our Cairn Terrier, Emmie.

We had a really hard time with our pet Maisie; she had a problem that first was identified in an xray as lymphoma. They said she would die soon. Then fine vets found it was a thymal tumor, which does not spread but had to come out. We needed first a catscan, then a through the chest operation. Through all this agony Embrace was entirely with us, never bothering us, understanding the problem and always paying services promptly. They are angels and totally on our side. We can't think of a better possible provider system. Vive Embrace and give them a hug!

All of my interactions with Embrace staff have been very positive, but the most recent incident has been exceptional. My dog Gracie has had ongoing and worsening health issues over the past 3 months and I have submitted a number of claims. The Embrace rep has been so responsive and even called me when I questioned one of those claims. They were incredibly helpful and took Gracie's history into account for the last claim I submitted. I am very grateful!

I just FINALLY got pet insurance this year for my Hannah (age 11) and Embrace was one of the few who offered Wellness to cover the ongoing costs of fleas/ticks/vaccines which I really appreciate! I also got illness and injury - in reviewing some previous medical charts for possible pre-existing conditions that would not be covered. There was some unclear and vague documentation from a previous dental exam that potentially would exempt cancer coverage. Embrace worked with me to help understand what specifically I needed to work with my Vet. I really appreciated how they worked with me, giving me specifics so to help save both my Vet and I's time to make sure in the future, should my Hannah have a need for Cancer insurance repayment, it would be there as expected. I've already recommended Embrace to all my friends and family.
