Change in price
Since joining the coverage and price has changed significantly, actually doubled in price and now you have to pay for the riders. Even if I chose to add the riders anything pre-existing is excluded so what is the point after 9 years.

Trupanion took care of us!
We have had Trupanion for over 4 years now for our 2 French Bulldogs (GiGi is 10 & Lola is 3). Lola was just diagnosed with IVDD a few weeks ago and had to undergo surgery for 2 herniated disks. Needless to say it was a stressful time - the process of diagnosing, trying meds/rest and seeing that she was in a lot of pain. When they determined that she needed surgery, we were relieved to have a solution and to know that the surgery had such a high success rate. She is on the road to recovery now. That is certainly enough to be thankful for but it is an extra blessing that Trupanion covered the majority of the costs for the surgery and they approved our claim in one business day! That is amazing, if only health insurance for humans was so efficient! We definitely recommend Trupanion - the customer service has been exceptional, definitely worth having!

Don't go another day without it (really, go sign up now)!
When our little lady, Millie, was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor back in April, we were thrown into a cycle of what felt like endless appointments and surgeries and procedures. It was an incredibly difficult time with much to worry about: but the one thing we never thought twice about was vet bills, thanks to ASPCA Insurance. The process for submitting a claim couldn't be easier, the reimbursement couldn't be faster, and the service couldn't be more spectacular (after each claim, the folks at ASPCA call to see how Millie is doing). We are happy to report that Millie is currently cancer free and on the mend, thanks to the topnotch care we were able to afford because of ASPCA. To all pet owners out there: get ASPCA. Fingers crossed your beautiful animal never gets sick, but if they do: you will be as grateful as I am for this spectacular coverage and service.

Painless
During times when I have to submit a claim, it's usually pretty stressful having to deal with the vets and the situations. However, Trupanion makes the claims parts of the process painless. I can't imagine how much easier you can make it, you provide clear details and are prompt with your communication. I appreciate your service and I recommend it to everyone I know with a pet. Thanks.

Forever grateful!
We couldn't be more grateful for Trupanion. We have had insurance on our dogs for years, and always hoped that if and when we should need to file a claim, that it would be easy, straight forward and effective. Trupanion not only met, but exceeded our expectations. When we needed to focus most on our family and our dog, we were able to do so, rather than being worried about claims or benefits. Trupanion is an answer to our prayers.

It's there when you need it
My little dog got into some burrs while chasing rabbits in the back yard and one stuck onto the fur around her eyelid and the burr was scratching her eye. Her eye started swelling and I immediately took her to the ER and they had to get it out under anesthesia. I brought Embrace forms to the vet, very simple forms to fill out and email back into them. I'm so glad I have this insurance, it covers a lot and I would do anything or pay anything to keep my fur baby healthy. They covered the whole amount and applied it to my deductible. I would rate them a 9 only because it took awhile to get a decision back but I think this is the best compared to the other companies that offer pet insurance and no one is perfect.

Terrible Insurance
This insurance used to be great until they changed to a different underwriter. Now they have no integrity and make you fight every claim. So sad and disappointing. There are many other good companies out there so do your homework and go with someone else!
