Rescue dog
My little, rescued poodle's health was a complete unknown. She was 6 years old when she adopted me and named herself "Angel". She had been a trained, service dog for a person in a wheelchair.
Because she was abandoned, after the death of her owner, rather than returned to her training agency, she was on her own in an unknown world for a year, before she was left on the steps of Animal Services. They traced her history through her chip implant. She was a sad, terrified little dog with a strong determination and will to survive.
Trupanion's excellent policy, professional and immediate service, and compassionate mission has made it possible for Angel to leave behind most of her baggage as she becomes a healthier and happy companion.
Trupanion's communication and relationship with her veterinarian and with me are exemplary.

Unfortunately, It Was A Positive ...
Unfortunately, it was a positive experience around a sad day. Our dog Speed had to be put down due to progressive skin cancer. We processed his final bills and received prompt response. However, I waited to cancel his insurance to ensure his bills were paid. Pet's Best upon receiving his final bills not only cancelled his insurance with appropriate refund, they also sent us prompt notes of condolence for our son Speed. It was much appreciate how they took care of us in our moment of sadness.

Amazing responsible insurance!

Every pet owner should have Trupanion. They are amazing!
Trupanion made giving our baby girl Kya the best care easy and stress free. We had our claims paid directly to the specialists hospital within the time we were waiting there. They pre-approved her condition and paid for 90% of everything minus exam fees and taxes- which is amazing! We will continue to use Trupanion and will never own a pet without a policy. Highly recommended!!!

I highly recommend Healthy Paws Pet Insurance

If only human health insurance could be this good....
We purchased Trupanion health insurance, with the rider for alternative services, years ago. We had no idea how much it would mean to us now, as our 11 year old golden retriever has been needing medication, chiropractic care, and hydrotherapy. Trupanion has processed our claims quickly (checks received within a week!) and without any hassle. They've been true to everything they committed to in our policy. We're so grateful to be able to give our dog the care she needs.
