Selecting Trupanion to insure our dog, Abbey, was the best decision we could have made. Trupanion is true to the policy and has handled claims quickly and fairly. The straight forward nature of the policy makes it easy to predetermine uninsured items and have an accurate estimate of expenses. Trupanion, in our 8 year experience, has kept pace with improvements in animal healthcare by making optional procedures now standard coverage. Cost increases have been minimal for the value received. Trupanion provides real value for pets and peace of mind value for pet owners. Our dog, Abbey, is a rescue. She has broken her left rear leg, and torn the ACL/CCL in both her left and right rear legs. To say she has been an active dog would be an understatement. Trupanion has had her covered and made her life easier by affording her great care and the right care and enabled her to enjoy a great life, albeit with a few interruptions. Trupanion has been stellar in providing great coverage and exceptional claims service.

Trupanion was quick, courteous, and professional in reviewing and sending out my claim. Communication was clear. Claim paid over half of my veterinary bill, even with my deductible. As a side note, Trupanion was able to get my claim approved in less than a month in spite of having a past hospital on the pet s record that had gone out of business - getting money back to our family before the holidays. Hands down the best! Never any issues with a claim. We have been with Healthy Paws since we got our dog over 5 years ago and it was the best decision we have ever made. Our dog has always been healthy with small issues like worms (yuck), ear infections, and cysts. This month however we had a really scary issue where our poor dog had a stomach blockage and had to be hospitalized for two nights with a feeding tube, catheter, and IV. The entire time he was in the hospital we said thank goodness for Healthy Paws! We were able to focus on getting our dog back to health instead of on the bills that were mounting to thousands of dollars. Healthy Paws customer service truly cares about the pets, and follows up to see how my dog is doing with a personalized note. Now our dog Lu is back to health!

Too expensive

Our puppy suffered a tibia fracture and from treatment #1, Pets Best have responded quickly. Luna needed surgery , the bill for that was $2400 and Pets Best paid $2100 so we didn't need to worry about finances but focus our attention our loved Luna! Thank you, Pets Best!!
