I love Healthy Paws...
I love Healthy Paws, and I recommend them to everyone I know who has pets. Submitting claims is super simple (you just take a picture of the vet invoice with your phone), and they usually approve claims very quickly. I had one claim that was approved about 15 minutes after I submitted it. In my experience, they pay for everything that they say they will.
Recently my cat was suddenly diagnosed with a rare, life-threatening condition and the vet recommended major surgery that would cost thousands of dollars. The decision was an easy one for me, since I knew that Healthy Paws would pay for 90% of the surgery. I'm very glad that I can make decisions about my cat's medical care based on what she needs and not what it costs.

I highly recommend Trupanion
My dog has seizure disorder (epilepsy). It started early this year and it has been a struggle to get his meds adjusted properly. His seizures are infrequent and short duration, but he has seen our local vet along with a number of specialists, including a neurologist, to try to get the seizures under "control." If you know about seizure disorder, you know "control" is a relative term.
Regardless, between the vet visits, trips to vet emergency, specialists, and meds, we have incurred thousands of dollars in bills. I am SO thankful for Trupanion. I am not sure what we would do without coverage.
Like any insurance company, there are coverage limitations. Exams, for example, are not generally covered. Read your policy and familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions. If you have questions, contact Trupanion customer service - their staff is awesome - knowledgable and really helpful.
The claim process is incredibly easy. Fill out claim form, scan receipt, e-mail to Trupanion. I almost always hear back within 24 hours and a check within a couple of days. They do offer direct deposit, but I have not arranged it.
I rate Trupanion as a "highly recommend." In fact, I have already recommended the company to other pet owners.

Piece of mind
I bought this health insurance not thinking I’d ever use it. Sadly at 7 1/2 years old my baby was diagnosed with renal disease. The week she spent in the hospital and her meds were expensive, but your pets are like your kids. Whether I had insurance or not I would’ve still done the same things. Thank you Embrace for making good health ins and making it so easy to file claims. Since this was our first time to file I was not sure what to do but the rep on the phone made it so easy. I recommend Embrace to all my friends with pets.

my puppy life
They help in give the information about doing the claims. We were able do a surgery that saved my puppy life. If we didn’t have the insurance he would die. He now a happy puppy.

Surprisingly Easy and Great Service
Surprisingly in a world where insurance companies try not to pay out, Healthy Paws paid every penny due to us in a timely manner. The process online is simple to submit a claim and you can check the status online too. We got our checks within a month of submitting our claims. Very easy to work with and great service.

Relatuvely expensive, but they are the choice I made when I chose my puppy, so why change? Have also added another doggie.

The Speed In Which The Claims Wer...
The speed in which the claims were processed and the amount of time it took to receive a check was exceptionally quick. I was very impressed with how easy it was to file a claim and the results I've gotten. Great job!!
