We bought this insurance 8 years ago when our two Boxers were babies. Whew! Are we glad. It has definitely paid for itself! From surgeries for swallowing inappropriate objects to sudden onset of a Bells Palsy type of nerve issue where the jaw wouldn't work (McKenzie could not eat or drink on her own), you have been right there to save the day! And you do it quickly and happily! I have recommended you to every dog owner I know and a few a don't know and I will continue to do so. I see so many owners struggling to pay for expensive treatments and surgeries that their dogs really need. Some never get the treatment they need because the owner just can't afford it. It is so sad to see animals suffer when they don't have to. I am grateful that we made this important decision so many years ago. It has really saved the day and we haven't had to worry about if we should take the dog in to the vet or can we just ride it out and see if the problem goes away........ Trupanion is there each time. Such a relief.

I think the Company should look into establishing a Veterinarian Network so that invoices can be submitted and processed directly by Trupanion.

I'm really satisfied of the convenience to file a claim. Although, i have not yet received the money for my first claim, so i wish it's faster to receive it.

The claim was accepted and payment went toward the annual deductible.

Our dog had a really bad break in his leg in an accident that required surgery and with this incident, then one our cats, Nunchuck, got really sick for two weeks refusing to eat and vomiting. It was a really stressful experience. We've had PetsBest for 3 or 4 years now, and this year it absolutely saved us from financial hardship. If we had to pay both of these expenses out of pocket, there's no way we would have afforded it and would have maybe had to sacrifice care for money. PetsBest gave us a peace of mind that the financial side would be taken care of. They are our babies. We love them just as much as anything, thus we protect them with PetsBest. Going through my cat's illness & passing has been devastating. Only 5 months after being diagnosed with cancer, he was gone.
