Thank goodness we chose Embrace Pet Insurance!! Our Bullmastiff "Fergie" has some health issues we did not count on. You never know what is going to happen to your pet when you are picking out that adorable puppy!! We also bought the wellness insurance also which pays for itself every year when you go in for your yearly wellness check. Fergie has had some serious health issues and Embrace has been there for us through it all. They are quick on claims and keep you updated as your claim comes in. You have choices to sign up for-and we have never had a problem with submitting our claims-they are taken care of as soon as we fax them in. If I ever have had to call they are very helpful and caring on the telephone-very professional. I am so glad we chose them for our "Fergie"

I literally got talked into taking this insurance from a friend who assured me I wouldn't be sorry. I had just gotten two yorkie-poo puppies who were four months old. Having their checks done occurred on the next day; they were fine. It wasn't until later that I learned the wisdom of having insurance. The cost per month was minimal; wellness care was included, and when my one little dog hurt its leg and needed patella surgery, I was so glad I had listened to my friend. I am so impressed with the kindness and consideration and the communication of this group. I asked for flyers to give to my other friends who have animals. Thank you Embrace.

I have had Trupanion since 2013 and I would not be without it. I have compared Trupanion side by side with other pet insurance companies and it has come out on top in benefits and affordability, especially for those with multiple pets. My most recent claim dealt with one of my dogs who had been outside in the early morning around 3:00am only for thirty minutes when she came back inside the house with her head completely swollen up. I rushed her to the Emergency Vet Hospital and it was confirmed that she had encountered a rattlesnake and was bitten in the face. Antivenin was administered immediately to counter the effects of the rattlesnake venom and she was monitored until the emergency vet hospital closed and then I was advised to take her to my regular vet for further monitoring and testing through out the day and possibly additional doses of antivenin if warranted and copies of all of my dog's paperwork were being faxed there so they knew we were on our way. When we arrived at our regular vet, we were expected and my dog was taken right in and set up to be monitored and examined by the veterinarian there. I received update calls and as the day progressed, things were looking good. Fast action on our part and getting treatment averted any additional damage from the snake venom. Trupanion paid the claim without hesitation.

Embrace has approved every single one of my claims over the past yrs. and they have done it with compassion for my sick elder dog. I recommended the Company to my Vet who now recommends it. I did not want to have to make a financial decision with a huge medical bill, so they offer me peace of mind.

This is the best company. At 1 1/2 years old my dog became allergic to some trees and long grass. I had to have my dog tested to find out what allergies she had so they could make the right shot medicine for her allergies. I have always been reimbursed at 90% with no issues at all. They are so helpful and very quick turn around for the claim. Highly recommend.

Embrace has been fantastic. They have great customer service and always available to answer questions. We never have issues with claims. Our GSD has hip dysplasia and they have made it possible for us to take care of her and fix her hips so that her long term well being and comfort is available.

This is probably the 5th review I've written for Trupanion...and honestly I owe them about 10 more. I have 7 animals insured with Trupanion...1 cat and 6 dogs. All of my fur kids were insured at young ages w/out health problems OR right when I adopted them. I have had over $30,000 of claims paid in the last 9 years. They've covered the following conditions: IVDD back surgery ($5,800), Pancreatitis ($3,000 and ongoing rechecks), Bladder Stone w/Removal ($4000 and ongoing rechecks), Diabetes ($2,400), Hypothyroid ($800), Cushings ($2,000), Cyst Removal ($1,200), TCC Cancer ($10,000 this included all treatment), Unknown Vomiting ($850), Choking on acorn ($1000). Claims are very easy to file (I do mine through email) and payment is very fast (within 1 week). I've had to call a few times and everyone is always very nice on the phone...and they are available 24/7...unlike most companies only available 'banking hours'. The MOST IMPORTANT thing is sign up BEFORE your animal has health issues!! SO..what does this mean? While they are young OR immediately after adoption. IF you adopt an in tact animal spay or neuter immediately...this way you are covered for any future mammary or testicular issues. DO NOT wait until your fur kid is sick or has a pile of medical issues! My rates usually go up the arbitrary 20%, however, there have been a few years I did not receive a premium hike. I started out with $0 deductible, so for me, I am able to keep my rates reasonable by adjusting my deductibles. When your facing a $2500 bill that slightly higher deductible is really not a big deal in my mind. I also have the additional care riders on all the policies which is helpful if you need it and the price is very reasonable on it as well. I was skeptical about purchasing health insurance because I heard some horror stories from friends. ASPCA has been great, though. I was able to customize a plan and structure payments to meet my needs. Unfortunately, I had to make a few claims this year, but ASPCA has been great at providing fast and accurate reimbursements. I've very happy that I purchased the insurance.
