It's always a pleasure dealing with Trupanion. I'm usually contacting you under circumstances that are not the best and every representative I've dealt with makes the process very smooth.

After years of having insurance for multiple pets, it simply doesn't seem worth the premiums.

Ralphy has been healthy for 8 of his 10 years since adopting him at 1 years old. Having "Pet Insurance" wasn't something we ever thought we would have to think about. One of our children had it for their dog and just mentioned it one day. We started thinking because of his age at the time it might be a good idea. Thankfully, or unfortunately, about 4 months after purchasing Pets Best Ralphy started with a few issues. The process of a claim, the Customer Service and website with helpful hits has been just awesome! We of course pray that Ralphy will be around for a long time and we don't have to file claims and he stays relatively healthy. But, it is comforting to know if we need insurance, it is there! Ralphy has been dealing with a Cyst in one of his legs. This has taken a lot more attention then expected because of complications with the leg tissue to be well enough for an operation to remove it. After TOO MANY months he finally had that surgery! All through the process there were examinations & medications of which we filed and have not been disappointed in the responsiveness from Pets Best or the final decisions on the amounts paid. Thank you Pets Best! Without your part being done well, this could have been a lot more difficult to work through.

Very satisfied with my claims

The process to file a claim is so easy. I just upload the invoice from the vet and PetsBest does the rest. I get a notification of what is covered and how much. If something is not covered, there is a very clear explanation of why it is not covered and then they provide an option for me to upgrade my insurance if I want to include that for next time. Thank you.

I will never own a pet again without insuring them. Pets Best has been an amazing company to work with.

My cat, Juliet, is now 18 years old. She has IBD and kidney disease but still behaves like a kitten thanks to Trupanion. There is no way I could have paid vet bills of over $3,000 so far this year without insurance. Trupanion has often pre-approved Juliet's treatment costs reimbursed either the vet clinic or me within a couple of days. Note: I live in Alberta, Canada but that province doesn't show in your list of states.
