Horrible Customer Service and Very Slow Claims
Warning. Stay away from Figo Pet Insurance. They are a scam. Their customer service is horrible and they process claims very slowly. I was told several times that they are experiencing high claim volume and they are hiring more people to handle it. I was also told they are growing too fast and are experiencing growing pains. This is not my problem. I have asked several times to speak with a supervisor and there is never one available. I pay my premium on time every month and expect my claims to be processed in a reasonable amount of time. Maybe they should slow down and focus on their existing customers. At this rate they will be out of business from all their unhappy customers. I wish I never signed up with them. There are lots of other pet insurance companies out there that you should consider. I will be cancelling my policy and getting a new policy with another company. Figo it is time for you to GO out of business.

Horrible Customer Service
I can't tell you how unhappy I am with this insurance company. The customer service here is horrible. One rep tells you one thing and another one something else. I find myself calling at least three times for each claim than I should have. The website is not user friendly and not clear. My last experience was when I put in for a claim for the dog's medication. Was sent an email to show proof of the receipt and the name of the medication. Did that. When I saw it was still pending I called and they wanted to know why was he given medication and I told them they had to link it to the diagnosis report. They did that then I get an email stating it was not part of my coverage. You think they would tell me that in the beginning instead of making me go through all of that. If my pet did not have an existing condition I would have dropped this coverage a long time ago.

Caring and prompt with claims
ASPCA pet insurance is very reliable. They always call to see how my dog Shayne is going after she has been sick. They are very prompt with claim processing and payment. It is very easy to submit a claim.

Embrace Continues to Pay
Embrace insurance continues to be wonderful by paying for all my dogs medical needs. My one dog has had I issues from a genetic condition that has gone on now for five years and they continue to be supportive and reimburse me for my vet bills. My dog would probably be blind now if I did not have insurance. Thank you Embrace because of you my dog still sees.

Glad we went with ASPCA
After debating as to get pet insurance or not we went with ASPCA after reading brochure from our local vet. Our puppy injured his leg a short time later and we have had numerous claims. ASPCA has been very prompt and efficient about taking care of our claims. I plan on staying with ASPCA.

So happy we insured
We have had dogs for many years. Our last two dogs had many medical issues throughout their lives and we spent thousands of dollars. We always questioned if we should have gotten insurance earlier. When we got River as a puppy, we decided to measure her claims against our other dogs who was a little older but hadn't gotten insurance. Within her first year, River was limping for no reason. She had had a clean exam when we got her because she was a rescue with no papers. We took her to a vet to have her hips examined to see why she limped all of a sudden. We were devastated to learn that she had hip issues and needed a new hip. She was only 1 years old and very active. Thank goodness we had insurance. We were able to use the best doctors available and ASPCA was incredible. They covered her claim just as promised in the policy. It was easy to file, they followed up and paid in an efficient manner. Everyone I have spoken to on the phone has been courteous and helpful. If only human health insurance worked this way. River is back to ball chasing and no more limps.

Thankful for Embrace
I can not tell you how thankful I am to have Embrace insurance for my dog. She developed cancer at an early age and having Embrace insurance on her gave me options I would not otherwise have. The radiation process is extremely expensive and given my past experience with insurance companies (Car insurance) I expected a fight on my hands to get them to pay, but that was not the case at all. Not only did they cover all the treatments, they expressed concern over how my sweet pup was doing. Again thank you Embrace!

A League of Their Own
When I found out my dog had hip dysplasia and that she then needed CCL repair surgery, the only thing that kept me sane was the fact that I was able to afford her care because of Trupanion. Without Trupanion, we would have had to try to find her a new home with someone who was able to care for her financially. Since her initial diagnosis, she's had 3 operations. Now, she's able to run and play just like a normal 2 1/2 year old dog should. Trupanion is by far the best pet insurance. One deductible per ailment (not incident). It can't be beat.
