Great coverage, no gimmicks or small print to confuse you.
Our "boy" had to have major surgery on his elbow and our coverage allowed us to get the operation he needed. He's on the mend! I am always skeptical about insurance companies but everything we needed we received in a timely manner. I would recommend this company.

They are the best ever, no hidden surprises emotionally or financially.
Trupanion came through exactly like they said they would. My dog had almost $7,000 worth of medical care. She had a tumor on her lung (cancerous) had surgery removed 2 lobes of her lung, stayed 1 extra night at the hospital and my cost out of pocket was less than $1000.00, Trupanion paid their 90% and the best part is they do a pre- approval whereas many people don't have a few thousand or so hanging around,Trupanion directly pays the Dr. & hospital. So I did not have this worry, how was I going to pay for it. Without the pre-approval we could not of been able to afford this and for this I'm forever grateful. P.S. Inky is doing absolutely great and it's like it never happened.

Oh Yeah!
I have never had a problem with this insurance. They have paid for everything that the contract covered. It takes about 15 days to get the refund. They give you money back on things that many others don't do. I have three dogs on here and we are very satisfied!

The best choice for pet insurance
Before acquiring our puppy (who is now 8 years old), I researched all the available pet insurance companies. Eventually, I narrowed the list to three possibilities. Our neighbor to the left took one company; neighbor to the right took a different one; and my husband and I chose Trupanion. Over the years we are the ONLY ones happy with our choice. Our puppy was seriously ill the first six months of his life and Trupanion was supportive, never once questioning a claim. Later, when we wanted a second opinion for surgery, they were great. No "gate" to go through to get an approval; they just said "Of course you should have a second opinion" and they paid that bill in full. That's the kind of service one doesn't forget.

When your company moved over a year, why didn't you tell the post office your new address so all your old mail would be forwarded to your new location? Also you should have notified all your members that you moved and forwarded them ALL new claim forms with your new address. My deceased wife and I have been members for over 5 Years and I'm now thinking of looking for a new provider since your rates are going up next year!
