The only Pet Insurance I would consider.
My one year old French Bulldog recently needed soft palate surgery and also surgery on his nose for Bracheocephalic Syndrome, something that can happen often with this breed. Healthy Paws was one of the few insurances that did not exclude this syndrome. Pierce had his surgery (and is doing great). I emailed the insurance a couple of times to make sure I was sending them the right information and had replies within an hour. When I had to call the company, the person I talked to was so kind and helpful. It was a pleasant experience. Filing my claim through their website was so easy and my claim was processed and I received my payment within one week. It would be so nice if medical insurance companies could be this great!

Satisfied
When our little dog, Annabelle, had to have surgery, I submitted her bills and they were paid right away. I appreciate that.

Trixie's back surgery
My dachshund Trixie got to where she couldn't walk and we had to carry her to the emergency vet which was over $500.00 and VPI paid all of the bill minus my co-pay of $50.00! She ended up having to be hospitalized for almost a week and VPI paid the $200.00 bill. Unfortunately she ended up having to have back surgery at a cost of $3500.00 which VPI paid minus my $100.00 deductible! Thank God for my VPI insurance. Trixie is doing well and we didn't lose everything to get her that way! The only bad thing for me was having to pay upfront and wait to receive my payment from VPI!

Incredible service!
I submitted my vet bill and, according to my plan, expected a response in 10 business days! Got an email immediately verifying receipt and another one a day later saying my monies would be deposited the following day. I am so happy I opted for Pets Best insurance for my Shih Tzu puppy, Sassy. A friend is using another company and has had nothing but problems getting their claim paid.

Awesome coverage
I have been completely satisfied with Pets Best. I have another company for the first few years of Tanner's life and Pets Best really tops them. Filing a claim couldn't be easier. They simply are the best.

ASPCA pet insurance is the best!
Our beagle has been covered by ASPCA insurance for 9 years. He is now 14 years old and has had 2 ACL surgeries , along with stomach X rays which led to a diagnosis and cure of an infection. Without this insurance we would not have able been able to afford the ACL surgeries, Cody would need to be put down as over time he could not walk. 6 years later,he is enjoying a great life , bringing joy to our entire family. There are no nicer people to deal with than the ASPCA staff. Don't delay , we never know what will happen to our pets - they can't tell us it hurts and insurance allows us to get care with less worry. thanks, Thanks, thanks The Swift family and Cody the 14 yr old beagle

Ups and Downs. Mostly Ups.
As far as working with insurance companies are, it's pretty good.
There was a little hitch early on with a claim that eventually became a continuing care type event which was a little stressful which our vet had to get proactive in, but after it got settled they've been quite good about accepting the claims for the medicine our girl is on for life.
The thing about insurance is that you're betting against your pets. If you're lucky, you won't need to file a claim. But if there is a problem with your pet, it's a nice safety net to make sure you can continue giving your pets the care they need.
