I often recommend Nationwide Pet insurance to people with dogs or cats. The insurance has been an excellent decision and as long as I have pets, I will choose and recommend Nationwide Pet insurance.

Get lumps checked
I’m glad that I had the lump on my dogs ear checked. My vet suspected that it was a benign growth and tested to confirm. A cream was prescribed to help with discomfort. If the lump doesn’t “ go away” on its own within 30 days, surgery may be required to remove. Fingers crossed that it disappears.

I have only praise for Pets Best
I have only praise for Pets Best. Unfortunately I have a dog that has been diagnosed with Inflammatory Bowel Disease and it is a process of elimination with tests and treatments to diagnose. Fortunately there was Pets Best to pay for the numerous expenses. I am so thankful for this insurance. And the process to file a claim is so easy and payment is usually received within just a few days. Keep up the great work.

Everything was quick and easy
In a time that was super stressful, my dog having to go to the hospital because she ate something she wasn't supposed to, was made easy with PetsBest. Everything was quick and easy, I just logged in, uploaded the invoice from the hospital, and not long after we received the check in the mail. It couldn't have been smoother. It's also nice to know that we didn't have to stress about the money we were spending to help our pet. Thank you PetsBest. I wish there were a few more days to file an accident claim. With everything being so chaotic, it could be easy to miss the date.

So thankful for Nationwide Pet Insurance!
This has been a tough year for our dog Tucker from losing a toenail which became infected, to an aural hematoma to arthritis - all for the first time in his life. I don't know what we would have done without pet insurance. It gives us the confidence to do everything necessary to give him the best care without having to worry about how we can afford it. When he had been walking without using his front leg for over a week, the vet did an x-ray to determine the cause with a concern of bone cancer. Fortunately it was arthritis not cancer, but it was a very tearful and anxious wait to until the x-rays came back. During the wait, we did have a peace in knowing that whatever treatment or tests he needed, that we would be able to proceed with the blessing of Nationwide Pet Insurance. I am very please with the amount they cover per claim, the only tough thing at times is the the average 4-5 weeks to receive the reimbursement.

Happy to have pet insurance
Overall this pet insurance is a good value if you take advantage of the wellness benefits. Claims are processed in a reasonable amount of time and customer service has been prompt on the phone when I have used it. The only issue I have had was an email I sent with a request about coverage was ignored and never addressed. I purchased a year's worth of flea/tick medicine because my dog ran out. The purchase date fell into the previous year and I had already used the benefit for that policy period so I requested to use the benefit for the current policy period since that is when the dog will primarily be using the medicine. No answer to my question. Basically request denied.

Cami is feeling MUCH better.
Cami is back to playing ball and frisbee and continues to do more with her leg each week. I'm really happy with my insurance experience and I will definitely renew for next year. You paid me within the guidelines that you promised and it was pretty seamless. This is my first dog in nearly 20 years (we've had many cats) and I have never purchased insurance for my pets before. What a great introduction to pet insurance!! Thank you for everything and Cami says thanks,too!
