Filing the claim was very easy. I used the app and uploaded the picture of the vet bill. They emailed me back to let me know they received the claim. I could track the process of the claim and reimbursement on the app. They even called me to see how my dog was doing.

My older cat, Annie was on a dry food only diet and started to experience constipation and bloating. Vet gave her some fluids and some samples of both wet food and prescription gastro dry food to mix together and try at home. A few days later, I took her back. She was doing better, and it was decided to keep her on a high quality wet food mixed with the prescription dry. That dry food was expensive, but Embrace covered 80% of the costs! I don’t agree with that, but given their quickness to reimburse every other multi-thousand dollar claim, I can’t complain. The other WONDERFUL thing about embrace is they will not drop you for claims! Premium renewals and pricing are not based on whether or not you made claims, which means we have the security of having insurance for our dog even if he relapses again.

Unfortunately, it looks like my pup started getting ill 3 hours before my 5-day waiting period was up.
