Our cat, Pygar, was hit by a car a few weeks ago. He had a very expensive surgery for a severely fractured leg. In the end, he had a plate, 5 pins and a screw inserted into his femur to replace his upper leg. The surgeon had to use bone grafts to hold it all together and then we had to hope it would heal properly. The surgeon indicated that pet insurance companies will typically try to fight the claim if bone grafts are used, but not Healthy Paws! The day after I submitted the claim, it had been processed and the check was in the mail for reimbursement of Pygar's medical costs. I received the check at the end of the week! For every claim I have submitted (2-3 so far in the 2 years we've had him insured), Healthy Paws has always been very quick to get the claim processed. Additionally, they contacted me after his surgery to see how he was healing. Healthy Paws really cares about your pet, it only makes sense to place your insurance with them.

I felt so bad that she had been in pain, but I knew surgery was the best option, and I knew Embrace would be there for me. Embrace kept me up to date on my claim with regular emails, and once the claim was processed, I received the check a few days later. I will be renewing my policies next month!

I was SHOCKED that filing this claim was as easy as they said it was and that receiving payment was also as easy! Thank you Trupanion, for honoring your policy as stated and for your prompt attention and resolution to our claim!
