Excellent help
Nichole was excellent and helpful as much as she could be. but not happy about the outcome if I have to make a appeal every time I submit a claim when I was under the impression Izzy's toe nail is reoccurring incident and would have been
covered then have to pay a deductible once again why even bother putting in a claim or have pet insurance

Very knowledgeable
Kelsie was very knowledgeable and friendly. She never made me feel 'rushed' to get off of what was a fairly lengthy phone call in which I had multiple questions I wanted responses to.

Claims
Due to the very poor analysis of many of our claims, I will not be recommending Trupanion to anyone.

Pre-exisiting conditions
The only thing I disagree with is how pre existing is determined. I have one that had T12 L1 surgery prior to obtaining insurance. 3 months later when insurance was in effect she had cervical issues. You say pre-existing. I say no. My other dog always had allergies that affected ears, nose and eyes. Last year she developed something with skin. You say pre-existing, I say no. I have a degree in medical coding and billing. For a person these would not be pre-existing. So I feel like I may be wasting money.

Pre-exisiting conditions
I actually ecstatically referred your program to 6 people in my office last week. Then, I had tried to use your program for the first time for new allergies my dog has started showing signs of and your first response is to decline my request?? Your team actually tried to relate an ear infection to his reaction when he's licking his paws...?? Are you kidding me?? Shouldn't he be licking his ears instead of his paws? His ears just needed to be cleaned...and You're going to decline me for that? They are totally unrelated. My dog is a new member of our family. He's in a new home, new owners, new food (I have no idea what he was eating before), new everything...he is still adjusting to his new place so naturally, this adjustment has caused issues. He was uprooted from his family that he's had in the last 5 years. This experience has made me regret signing up with you. I have since told all my friends about this experience and they have since contacted other pet insurance companies. I'm not at all impressed with how your group has handled this.

Extremely helpful
She was extremely helpful in identifying why my monthly rate went from $73 to $144. It's the huge increase that was a shock I was not happy about interacting over! I now have the lowest monthly payment possible of $59 with a $1000 deductible. I'm going to look closer at what others are offering. My interactions with Trupanion have always been great.
