I recommend Trupanion.
Lately I have been spending a lot of time in the hospital with my little yorkie, and have realized how many people do not have insurance for their pet. I have referred Trupanion to many people who never realized how important it is.

provide some level of coverage for pre-existing conditions
I wish you guys could provide some level of coverage for pre-existing conditions for rescue animals. Even 50% would be huge and could allow for more animals to be helped.

Not the best customer service rep.
Not the best customer service rep. She was not happy, when I indicated it took a long time to receive reimbursement.
Trupanion insurance costs are outrageous and go up every single year, without question. Customers have no option to go elsewhere as they will claim "preexisting conditions".
My pups insurance cost MORE THAN MINE! Something not right here.

Dominique went above and beyond to help me. I was having difficulty in getting the photographed claim on my phone to his personal email. So he would submit the claim for me. Very helpful and was so willing to help me out......

None of the claims were approved
None of the claims were approved and the same excuse that he had a preexisting condition. The dog is 5 years old. So everything is a preexisting condition. I rather pay Bandfield the 40 dollars a month for prevention care.
