I think the CEO of Trupanion should hold a conference for human medical insurance companies and teach them how to run their businesses.Thank you for being there when I needed you!

While there has been some confusion over eligibility of the claims that has been reviewed in detail and the determination amended. Communication with the vets could have been better and resolved on it's own. I've been left wondering about many of the details of the process. I will definitely get coverage with Trupanion for any future pets and ultimately the company has lived up to my expectations when it was recommended to me by my sister in law. I would suggest that Trupanion ask for and receive a pet health report at the time of establishing coverage to avoid future issues like we have had.

Waste of money. Does not cover preventive problems. They should require and pay for a checkup every 6 months. This in the long run would save both parties alot of money. I'm a disabled veteran with a service dog though this would help me save money and protect him. I'd ben better off with a special savings account.

I have had this insurance since May 2019 and my dog was 12 years old. I have never filed a claim before but now when he needs an MRI for muscle weakness in his hind legs it was denied. They say it was pre-existing.
