I was really surprised how easy it was to get pre-approved for my pet's medical condition.
I was really surprised how easy it was to get pre-approved for my pet's medical condition. This was an extremely stressful time, and it was such a relief to have the finances of providing his care to not be a part of that stress. I've had some serious battles with health insurance companies that provide coverage for people, and I can honestly say that I wish that they had been as easy to deal with, and compassionate, as Trupanion was with me.

I called to check the status of my reimbursement.
I called to check the status of my reimbursement. I was told not only had my claim just been received 2 days prior (I had personally submitted it online 1 week prior) but that they were understaffed and it is taking longer to process claims and that it could take another 7-10 days . Very disappointing information. I'm not sure how I feel about Trupanion as my Pet Insurance company at this time.
