Always was with Healthy Paws, but decided to check out Nationwide Pet Insurance. I have NOT regretted my decision since the switch. A bit more expensive as my Nationwide policy covers Wellness, which I was looking for. We even had an issue when a lump appeared a few months after the waiting period, Nationwide asked for all his medical records. When they saw the lump appeared a few months after the inception of the policy, they went ahead and paid it all off. When I see folks at the vet's office and they don't have pet insurance, I ask them to check out Nationwide Pet Insurance. The reason I checked "NO" in the question if I found reviews useful in making my decision, was I already had our pet covered by Healthy Paws, and I wanted to add the Wellness program to my policy.

All we have paid is the monthly premium and the deductible. Ins has covered everything else! The VitusVet app is great!

I have been using Nationwide for my dog's insurance for around 5 months now. The claims process has always been extremely smooth. Nationwide has communicated with me every step of the way and it allows me the peace of mind of knowing that the funds will be sent to me in a timely manner. So much weight has been lifted off of my shoulders due to the financial burdens of pet care not being such an issue anymore. The monthly payment for my dog's health insurance is 100% worth it!

Jack is 13 years old as of today he has so many problems. I thank GOD ever day for Nationwide. If we did not have them I know that Jack would not be here with us today. Jack is a little slow these days but in the morning after breakfast and dinner he will play for 5 or 10 minutes with his little girl COCO Bean she is 8 years old

Nationwide has been fantastic!! a 10 all day long!!!

Our puppy developed severe pneumonia and bronchitis from a cold that was going around his camp. It was a very stressful time as he had to be hospitalized. Having Healthy Paws insurance, we didn't have to worry about making sure he had the necessary medical care and they covered everything! The claims were processed in about two weeks and filing a claim could not be easier. Uploading photos on the app of the invoice took no time at all. They even checked in to see how he was feeling!

With such a sudden circumstance with a healthy dog, could not believe the bad arthritis in the back. After causing the dog to suddenly not be able to walk, the thoughts of long term care was stressful. But, with good evaluation and treatment plan, she is back on the road to normal activity.

Nationwide paid our cat's 2 surgery claims with an online claims payment within 2 weeks of the procedure. Cant say enough about the process, so professionally done. I have told all my friends who are pet owners and they are getting Nationwide on their side too!
