They really came through for me when my ESA got seriously ill. He eventually passed, but they made it a much less painful experience and were so helpful with his vet bills.

Best experience; better than I could have ever imagined!
Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was incredible to work with. I was amazed at everything they covered and the claims process was so incredibly simple. Although our dog has recently passed, there is no doubt that we will get another pup and when we do, we will use Healthy Paws again.

Misleading and disappointing
Difficult to say anything positive about the experience I’ve had with Nationwide thus far: it seems that each time I call to speak with someone the person is unprofessional and the connection is always poor. I never really get straight answers to my questions. Furthermore the coverages and the EOB we get for our claims don’t make a whole lot of sense. Things that should have been connected aren’t, and we find ourselves having to chase our vet office for additional documentation and information. Not a simple claim process, and overall disappointing.

I received prompt service after submitting my claim online.
I received reimbursement within a week of submitting my claim for my dog’s CCL surgery. Submitting online was very easy. A follow-up call asking about Colby and the insurance service was appreciated. The representative appeared to be genuinely interested in Colby’s progress. I have been a customer for 10 years and have always received this level of care with each claim I have submitted. I would not go without Pet Insurance.

Efficient and Easy
So easy to make the claims. I am so glad I had the coverage when we had this emergency. When the vet came in with her plan of action, I didn’t have to consider whether I could afford this or not. I knew I had 90% coverage.

This is the best pet insurance on the market! I recommend it to all of my pet parents.

So much more efficient, transparent and easier to submit claims than human health insurance!
My experience with Nationwide Pet Insurance has been 10,000 times better than with my human health insurance. Your policies are clear. Claim submission is simple. You explain benefits and provide reimbursement when applicable in a timely fashion! Submitting claims through Vitus Vet is simple and efficient! You could teach United Health Care a lot!!
