HealthyPaws Pet Insurance was easy to enroll into and quick at giving a quote for each of my pet dogs. I recently and unexpectedly had an issue with my lab mix dog. He was diagnosed with IMHA - Canine Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. He spent two days in the emergency hospital. The doctors ran several tests (blood work, x-rays, ct scans), on IV for his entire stay. Fortunately he was released and was sent home with prednisone and immune suppressants which are very expensive. He had to have another blood exam a week later. The entire cost totaled approximately $4,500. HealthyPaws paid approximately $3,900 of all the bills to present. They deducted my annual $100 deductible and also the exam fees and reimbursed me 90% of the remaining total. The best part is they reimbursed me less than a weeks time - before my credit card bill was even sent to me. I've had pet insurance before, but HealthPaws has earned their 5 stars! I have been an Embracer since 2009 and have been very happy with Embrace Pet Insurance. I have two dogs and have their wellness rewards coverage that pays out more than you pay for it annually. I have had a few instances of using Embrace for illnesses such as ear infection, UTI and stomach issues, but they really became important when my dog, Blackie, suffered a partially torn CL. Surgery was recommend by my vet, but after research, I chose to get a custom brace for Blackie. I had already met her deductible (Embrace has a vanishing deductible program for years you don't make an illness claim) so that was no issue. I called Embrace to see if I had to stay within a certain price rang since this brace was expensive. I was told that I didn't, but just said I had a annual maximum (which I hope to never need), but other than that, no problem. They also let you have your covered costs paid directly to your bank account which is great if you have an expensive claim like I did. They are always very kind and helpful on the phone. The claims are paid straight minus deductible and then (for me) 80% on claims. They are not based on an allowable amount like many companies. I highly recommend Embrace!

Healthy Paws has been a godsend to my family. I researched many different insurance companies when my dog was a puppy, and even had one sponsored by my own job’s insurance, but Healthy Paws stood out among the rest. Since I signed up for Healthy Paws, I have found myself thanking my lucky stars for them on many occasions. The service is reliable - I receive checks within a week or so, they review claims quickly and communicate updates efficiently. More importantly, I am so impressed with the customer service of this company, who engages with me on social media and has sent emails to see how Brutus is feeling after filing claims for a stomach illness. They truly care and do all they can to support you and your pet. If you’re considering pet insurance, Healthy Paws is the way to go!
