Paw pad injury (glass shard in pad)
I give a poor review as the insurance did not cover the entire injury as it should have. The Vet did not catch this on the 1st xray and the injury lasted for almost 2 months. The second time a round a different view xray revealed the glass shard deep in his paw pad. Instead of covering the surgery 100% I got a DENIAL OF BENEFITS. for part of the claim (about 190 some bucks). If this would have been spotted in the 1st surgery, and teken out then It would have been ~no questions asked~ and the entire surgery covered.

Fast, friendly, flexible - your fur baby can get better insurance than you!
If you're considering pet insurance, give this company a serious look.
The terms of coverage are flexible to fit your budget, and simple to understand. They have an associated smartphone app that makes it really easy to take a picture of a claim for submission. And they have a fast claims process turn around. So when your furry baby has an expensive procedure, like an ultrasound (speaking from experience), you don't wait long for reimbursement. I wish my health insurance was as simple and straightforward as this.

Best pet insurance EVER
I have been immensely impressed with my dog pet insurance. What is most impressive is that all the things that the plan says they cover they actually cover and reimburse you 90% of the cost. The submission process is simple and I received my reimbursement checks within a few weeks. I am very satisfied with this insurance plan it is well worth the cost especially during my puppy's first year. We intend to continue the insurance through his life I hope they don't change the plan! It is by far the best plan since it covers nearly everything.

Such a relief!
My dog was recently attacked by a vicious dog while on a walk. Nationwide paid the entire visit in full, and contacted me to make sure he was ok. One less thing to worry about. Thank you!

Disappointing system. Great Insurance.
We have 4 dogs insured with Embrace. Called to add a fifth..new to our family French Bulldog puppy. Embrace was willing to add pup to our policy but for some maddening reason would charge us a retroactive payment to align coverage enrollment date with other dogs on policy. This would have meant we were paying insurance on the new pup BEFORE he was even BORN. Unacceptable. We went with another insurer and intend to not renew existing policies. I asked.."Embrace is willing to lose 4 policies totaling more than $3k annual premiums because of a $90 charge to add an animal that wasn't even born during coverage period in question?" Sorry, sir, that's the way our system works.
Too bad.

Buy this insurance coverage!
This is my second year to purchase Embrace Pet Insurance. It is underwritten by USAA, that should tell you all you need to know as far as dependability, reliability, and trust. My cat, Harry, is a klutz. Not only is he a klutz he developed allergies and licked all of the fur off his underbelly. He scratched and licked incessantly. He was miserable which made me miserable. The wonderful thing about having pet insurance is you don't hesitate to get the proper care for your pet. It's peace of mind! When Harry looks like he's not feeling well or I suspect he's gotten into something I have no hesitation taking him to the doctor knowing full well that Embrace Pet Insurance will reimburse my claim. And the process couldn't be easier . Simply take a photograph of the bill, upload it to their claim website and you'll receive an email from them confirming they received it and are reviewing it, then you will get another email saying it's covered. They have never not covered a bill or claim in the two years I have been with them. You can select the percentage of coverage that fits best into your budget and you can also select to have Wellness care which covers yearly vaccinations, teeth cleanings, and office visits. Like I said, it is peace of mind knowing you can care for the animal that depends on you for its care.

Excellent Service
Unfortunately our 20 month old got meningitis requiring ICU and hospitalization for a week. Use your imagination about the invoice, fortunately we had Embrace and had a check in less than two weeks that covered half the bill. It covered half because that was the policy I had selected, no questioned asked, simply paid their full share. I am grateful to have them. Thank you Chanel!!!

Rates increase significantly each year
This insurance was a good value when my dog was a puppy. I could relax and know that whatever came up I could handle it financially and not have to worry about the cost vs her health. My dog is 4 years old and each year the rates have gone up...this year they went up 18%! I now am questioning whether I can afford it for much longer. Very disappointed.
