I have had this insurance since May 2019 and my dog was 12 years old.
I have had this insurance since May 2019 and my dog was 12 years old. I have never filed a claim before but now when he needs an MRI for muscle weakness in his hind legs it was denied. They say it was pre-existing.

Disappointed and concerned.
Waste of money. Does not cover preventive problems. They should require and pay for a checkup every 6 months. This in the long run would save both parties alot of money. I'm a disabled veteran with a service dog though this would help me save money and protect him. I'd ben better off with a special savings account.

Best Pet Insurance ever!
we have had some challenges with this pup that we have never dealt with. This is the first time we have tried pet insurance. Thank God we got it and thank God we got Trupanion. They have been amazing with our baby. And so quick and fair in their judgement of coverage. We would never use any other insurance company!

Be wary of this company. They will charge multiple deductibles for things even though they are related to the same issue. It’s a money making scheme, and they try to pay as little as possible.

This was my first time using this insurance.
This was my first time using this insurance. I was concerned there would be delays in paying the claim while the claim was investigated, but this morning I received emails that the claims were approved which was a great relief to me!
