That sucks! Majorly dissappointed!

I have had VIP/Nationwide Pet Insurance since I purchased my 2 English Bulldogs. My main reason for the insurance is their breed can have health issues. The other MAIN reason was my intention to breed my female once or twice, depending how she did with the pregnancy and delivery. So, when inquiring about the insurance coverage I was VERY specific regarding breeding, coverage etc.... I asked the question 10 different ways and went into detail as to specifics, for example...."what if ....happens", "What if that happens...?". Each and every time I was told absolutely covered, yes, that is covered on and on.... Well, I was at the vet to confirm a pregnancy and there were x-rays performed and when I submitted the bill I was informed that ANYTHING pertaining to pregnancy etc...was NOT COVERED. So, my question is, did that employee at the interview portion get a commission because I signed up 2 dogs and she outright lied to me? That is the only explanation I can come up with. I am majorly disappointed. I will not use Nationwide again. I will go to another pet insurance if the opportunity presents itself. Since the dogs are now 3 yrs old I am sure there would be issues if I switched.

Nationwide gives us so much peace of mind in owning a dog.

Nationwide is always there to assist me and advise me regarding the best care for my beloved German Shepherd. I have much less stress when any unexpected medical issues arise. Nationwide was very quick to get to our claim. I was impressed.

I was a little skeptical at first with my wife getting insurance for our dog but already having 1 surgery, it made sense. I am glad we did. It pretty much pays for itself and I would suggest it to any pet owner. You never know what could happen.

Extra Consideration

Thank you so much for doing the extra review of Tigger's claim for dental work. We bought the policy for him when my mother-in-law got him but she was ill and didn't follow her vet's instructions to get his teeth cleaned. We weren't aware of this and since she has passed he is living with us so we took him to get his teeth cleaned. He had to have extensive work done and you had originally only covered a very small portion since his early vet had suggested the cleaning and it hadn't been done. After speaking with your representative and explaining the situation you reviewed the claim again and paid most of the cost. We are very grateful for this care and really appreciate your consideration. We have a policy with you for our other Yorkie and will always have policies with your company. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fast and thorough

Pets Best is so great. We have been with them for years and so glad we are. They are fast and thorough with claims. I have recommended many people to use Pets Best and as far as I know all are equally as happy as we are.

Did my research & chose the BEST!

I brought my puppy home in December 2017 & spent a whole month doing my research & trying to find the BEST Pet insurance coverage at the BEST price, done live chats with many pet insurances & got quotes from over 15 of them. Pet's Best was definitely one of the top 3 that I had narrowed it down to, hard to beat $10,000 annual accident coverage at 90% / 10% copay for only a $250 deductible. I had finally decided upon Pet’s Best’s accident & wellness plan for my new pup in January 2018, which little did I know would come in handy VERY soon after. Around Feb 21st, 2 months in, i had the unfortunate incident where my pup went missing in the woods. I was in such distraught & was hoping for her safe arrival. Was also preparing myself for any vet bills that the incident may have brought, I was worried about if she may have aten something that would’ve hurt her while lost or if she might have fallen in due to the rainy weather & muddy trails or worst have gotten attacked by a wild fox or coyote, I was in so much panic that I had forgotten all about my very smart & responsible policy I had just purchased for my beautiful pup a month ago. I was worried that I would’ve been another monthly bill that I would sent an echeck to via my bank & that I had forgotten to do that in the month of February. Luckily I was sooo relieve when I logged in & saw they had automatically charged my bank for their service that month. When we finally found my momma’s girl we immediately took her to the vet, as she had broken her femur due to the incident & had the privilege to let them “continue any procedure in case of any emergency” instead of having them give me a call, while I was at work & then deciding what would be best to do. I was super grateful to have gotten my pup back & not have to worry about her vet bill budget because I knew Pets Best would have it ALL covered with a lot of wiggle room in their $10,000 ! Her entire $5,742.93 vet bill ended up only costing me $571.89. They covered every single medication she has been given since then for her recovery & all the follow up appointments as well as follow up minor surgeries (which were about $300 per visit!). I have recommended Pet’s Best to all of my family, friends & even coworkers since I first purchased it (due to all my research) & they have in NO WAY let me down. They are very helpful & always super kind. Refund payment has been direct deposited within a week of the claim being submitted as well. Super glad I made the right choice with Pet’s Best & will definitely keep this policy as my pup ages in great health because of them! (Also only took 3+ weeks because every 2 weeks was a new follow up & another claim to submit!)

Can't get any easier

Seriously, this is the most simple process ever. You go to the vet - pay your bill. The vet submits the form, or you could - Embrace acknowledges receipt so you know they do have it, and it gets processed right away (most of mine are within two weeks). I also have the reimbursements deposited right into my checking account. I LOVE EMBRACE!!!

Embrace is Part of the Team that Saved our Cat

We are a three cat household and so early on we decided we needed to obtain insurance for our four-legged family members. We had always been pleased with the service and quick payment of wellness claims. Then in November 2013, our sweet cat Stefani was diagnosed with kidney lymphoma. It was a scary time for us after we discovered the "lump". When we were provided with a treatment protocol and the cost, it was bit overwhelming; however, we soon discovered that because of our insurance, the cost of treatment was no longer a big concern for us and we could focus on Stefani's treatment. Stefani has been cancer free and it's been a year since her final chemo treatment. She continues to be seen by her oncologist and Embrace continues to cover her post-cancer treatments. Thank you to Embrace for being part of the team that saved her life!

Pawesome Company!

I highly recommend getting insurance from Embrace for your furry loved ones! My English bulldog got a soft palate surgery along with a few other minor surgeries and Embrace was able to cover the claim!

Excellent customer service and east/fast to submit claims...

I’m very impressed and pleased with Embrace’s customer service. The claim process is simple and quick. I’ve never experienced any problems and have been a customer for years. I’m grateful for pet insurance and Embrace taking care of my baby.
