Never would have imagined . . .
We adopted Paisley at 7 months of age this past December. Did not want to make the commitment to insurance. What could go wrong?
Paisley dined on a "Hand Warmer". Small white packet containing particles of Iron. Iron Poisoning can be life threatening. She spent three days in the hospital where she was flushed out from both ends.
The end result was she never developed the poisoning and we had a $2,300 bill to deal with.
Trupanion covered everything they said they would. Our out of pocket costs was somewhere around $400.
