Since 2010 when I became a client of Trupanion, every (EVERY) single time I have needed to contact Trupanion by telephone about various situations (mostly regarding the request to juggle my payment date around because I was out of steady work for 3 years), I consistently had the opportunity to speak with a POLITE, ARTICULATE, ENGLISH-SPEAKING HUMAN BEING that is clearly a legal resident of The United States of America!! Never once have I heard the words “Press 1 for English” etc., etc. Toward that point, if the customer care representatives are all on other calls, there is never a recorded message with robotic instructions. No annoying music while on hold. This is the kind of Customer Service I want to do business with in America! Everything I have stated seems to be a way of the past these days.
Being out of work for an extended time became increasingly frustrating when 99% of the time bill collectors were calling me from India or Thailand. I know what foreign country these illiterate bill collectors were calling me from because I asked them.
I am now gainfully employed and am grateful that even though I was unable to afford my own health insurance for a couple of years, I was able to keep my Trupanion premiums paid because Trupanion is a compassionate and honest company that wants to provide excellent service. I have only filed about 10 claims through the years, but each was paid quickly. Those who leave negative reviews are most likely not reading the “rules” before they join Trupanion.
TRUPANION: THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!
