Trupanion was there when I needed them.
Mahalo (Thank you) Trupanion for being there! This was my first experience with one of my pets getting sick and I was a bundle of emotions while I waited at our pet hospital to find out what was wrong with my little guy. I knew it would cost a pretty penny but I never imagined that a one night stay in the hospital could cost so much. I knew that I would have to endure whatever cost it took to get him some help. I contacted Trupanion while I waited for them to put together the estimate as my anxiety grew. When I inquired about direct billing the agent on the phone went over exactly what I needed to do and within minutes after speaking with the veterinary staff, they came back with an estimate from Trupanion and what would be covered. Some relief came over me to know that Trupanion was there to help me. Long story short, when I came back the next day to pick up my baby,(who had me worried all night) I was anticipating having to pay more in order to check him out. Low and behold, they submitted the final invoice to Trupanion and again, within minutes I was called up and told that they would be refunding me a huge chunk from what I paid the day before. What a relief! Thank you Trupanion for everything. I'm so glad that I had pet insurance. Trupanion came through BIG TIME!
