Been covered since 8 weeks but they want proof with each claim that the illness was not pre-existing …
We signed up for this coverage when our puppy was 8 weeks old. Given this, any claim for illness/injury would have happened within his coverage period.
He is now 9 months old and we have submitted three claims. Each time, the company asks for records from every vet he’s ever seen to make sure it’s not pre-existing.
With the last claim, they requested records from the wrong vet. I responded in their app and by email three times. I finally had to call to get this corrected.
That said, the claim submission process is very simple and user friendly. Hence the three stars instead of two.
