Great experience with my 1st claim for Spot Pet Insurance

Recently I submitted my first claim for my pup with Spot Pet Insurance. I had been with them for almost 1 year and was due to renew within a few weeks. Not knowing what to expect, I was nervous about the submitting process, hoping this was not going to be an annoying situation to deal with. So I went on their website and found that it was the easiest process that I have ever done for any of my previous dogs. I have to admit that I was extremely surprised with the ease of the whole process! I had read that if I did not have the Veterinary medical notes that they would contact my Vet. Therefore all I had to do was answer some questions and submit my Vet Emergency Invoice. Being such a stressful time with my pup, I welcomed this with open arms. Such a relief to be so easy. I opted for the direct deposit reimbursement which made the whole process even quicker. I think it was only a matter of 7 or 8 days before my reimbursement was deposited. Amazing!! I definitely will highly recommend Spot Pet Insurance to everyone I know!

Reliable Pet Insurance

Thank you to spot insurance for taking care of my dogs claim quickly! It was just as easy as paying first out of pocket for my emergency pet visit at my local vet, making sure that you have all the history and documentation for your pets visit. File a claim with spotpet insurance and upload the documents to their website. Again, claims are only taken care of if your pet does not have pre-existing conditions. My family got reimbursed quickly after a week of putting in the claim. Thank you so much spotpet for being so reliable.

Monthly Cost

Rates start at: $10 (for accident only), $16 (Complete Coverage). plan costs vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

The pay-out amount is based on the actual vet bill, at a rate pre-selected by the customer: 90%, 80% or 70%

Payout Limits

Annual limits can be set by the customer, ranging from $2,500 to $20,000, including an unlimited option. No lifetime limits.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750 or $1000 annually.

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

There are no waiting periods for preventive care. Coverage begins 14 days after date listed on policy for accidents, illnesses, and knee/ligament conditions.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures and breeding costs are not covered. Spot Pet Insurance has two Preventive Care plans that can be added to help cover a pet’s wellness care, including annual exams, vaccinations, tests, dental cleanings and flea/heartworm preventive. Preventive Care plans reimburse up to a set amount for each listed treatment. If your pet exhibited symptoms of a knee and ligament condition at any time, prior to enrollment or during a waiting period, all ligament and knee conditions will be excluded. Ligament and Knee are conditions involving a ligament, patella, meniscus or soft tissue disorder of the knee.
