I was a new client with SPOT and would not reccommend them at all. They took over 3 weeks to review my claim and then used the Pre-existing condition excuse to deny the claim.
The customer service options were slow to respond and now I have requested them to reimburse my full policy payment which they are not responding to.
In the past I had Nationwide and when I compare the 2, I would go back to Nationwide considering the extreme difference in how claims are handled and communicated about.
Update: While SPOT did respond to my request today for a policy refund, they want to pro-rate the amount. Due to the delay in processing my claim and the customer service issues, I did not feel pro-rating was acceptable.
