Sweet Pumpkin
Pumpkin has consistently processed claims for my Little Roxy girl and in a timely manner. As a senior person on a fixed income this is quite helpful to Roxy & me.

Pumpkin stellar customer service and comprehensive plans
When making a decision on health insurance for my dog I called multiple companies and spoke to many representatives. When I spoke to the representatives at Pumpkin, they were incredibly personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Each was able to shed light on specific aspects of the policies and able to answer my questions fully. When I chose Pumpkin I stayed on the phone with one representative and she was able to confirm the submission of my documents as well as assist me in navigating the portal online as I was familiarizing myself with it.

So far every person that I've spoken to has been super polite and extra courteous and very informative. I am so happy to have selected pumpkin. Hopefully I will never have to use it LOL. Sincerely Mr martello and Rocco.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
