Pumpkin is very easy & very responsive…
Pumpkin is very easy & very responsive to your claims & reimburses quickly. Additionally, they were very supportive financially & emotionally when we had to care for & unfortunately had to unexpectedly euphonize our beloved Jake. I have been very great full & impressed with the service we have received.

Pumpkin Insurance is the only way to go…
Pumpkin Insurance is the only way to go if you have pets. I opted for the annual package. After Violets(cats) visit, I submitted a claim and received the money within 2 weeks. The direct deposit option is great. Anytime I have needed to call customer service I was impressed by how informative friendly and helpful the staff was.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
