The whole process with customer service…
The whole process with customer service was a great experience. She was professional, knowledgeable and was to answer all my questions.
The claim process was easy, all required documents were easy upload on my computer. Very please with entire experience at this time.

Prompt reimbursement for wellness
I made a wellness claim on 6/1 and was reimbursed within 8 days via direct deposit. I purchased the insurance and wellness for my 8 week old puppy. Hoping not to use the accident or illness benefit anytime soon but hopefully the claims process will be as seamless.

All of my questions were answered. Pumpkin's benefits far outweigh what I can get from my vet.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
