Pets Plus Us | Pet Insurance Review

My husky had three outdor adventure related injuries Pets Plus Us refused to cover anything. Resulting in me paying over $6,000 in vet bills. I made multiple phone calls and emails with zero response. I have been trying to cancel my insurance with Pets Plus Us for the last 12 months, they are STILL charging me and refuse to answer my emails or return my calls. This company did nothing but contribute to the already present stress of a sick animal. I have switched both pets to a seperate insurance company six months ago. Four days after I switched to Truepanion I received two individual presents for each pet, both with customized bandanas, numbered collar tags and a welcome card for each animal.

They give you a sense of assurance that you are able to take excellent care of your pets.

We have had our St Bernard insured with PEts+Us since we brought him home 6 years ago and have had wonderful service from this company from day 1. We have filed a number of claims for our big guy, with ease. We are currently dealing with a significant illness for our dog and I have had to contact customer service a couple of times in the past few days and everyone I have talked to has been extremely helpful, patient and kind through the process. I am very happy with Pets+Us and would highly recommend!

Ive sent 23 emails and no response, finally some dude calls me back asking me for the information ive already sent. Finally some one called me back again asking for the same info. Now I call back and sti on FN hold for over 33 minutes.. disgusting customer service. If yall really dont like your jobs, quit and move on. If you really care about CS then actually provide customer service. its that simple

After paying into a plan for years, our cat needed a tooth removed - our first claim. We tried getting a hold of someone for weeks to make sure the procedure would be covered and no one got back to us and we couldn't wait any longer because our cat was in pain so we proceeded. We tried to submit the claim AND THEY DON'T COVER DENTAL!?!?!?!? I'm blown away. This was not clearly communicated to us when we purchased coverage and would have never purchased coverage if we knew this. So shady. What kind of health insurance doesn't cover dental? 0/10, do not recommend. Will be canceling our policy. So disappointing.
