The most horrible pet insurance out there over seven years paying are seniors and they never had any intention on paying
We are seniors have paid top dollar for our pet since we have got him to make sure we had pet insurance ..You have taken our money for over 7 years with never intending to ever except a claim for our dog .To us that is fraud and a scam you should have told us 7 years ago you would be doing this ..We would have saved our very limited money .Shame on you and your company .You should be sued for stealing money from seniors knowing you are never going to except a claim ..I will for sure be social media and telling whoever with listen and TV how you operate ..You scam us seniors for sure for alot of money ..

Deceitful practices
We were startled to see that our PetPlan policy for our dog Tessa had increased over 11 years from $113.69/month; $341.08/quarterly; or $1,364.32 this last year, to $336.75/month; $1010.25/qtr; $4041/annually this year effective July 1st, 2021. Her policy renewal has increased 196% since last year.
We signed up with PetPlan in 2010 because they did not cancel policies based on age of dog and guaranteed that there would be no premium increases past 11 years of age. Tessa was a year old in 2010, and turns 12 in July.
In an email exchange with Ken Roberts from PetPlan in 2010, when we were evaluating insurance companies to ensure Tessa, we asked Ken “How much do premiums increase annually?”
Ken Roberts, 1-866-467-3875, x2415 responded: "Inflation and by age of animal. Increases are 6 - 8% every year between ages 3 and 11. typically $2 - $3 / month. no more increases after 11 years old.”
PetPlan changed underwriters in 2017 unbeknownst to us until yesterday but did not notify customers of their change in contract nor did they offer any remedy to customers who signed up with PetPlan before 2017 and were promised reasonable policy prices after age 11. We are probably going to file a complaint with the Insurance Commissioner for Washington State, as well as the Better Business Bureau unless you have some suggestions for how to get PetPlan to comply with their agreements. I would rather not rate PetPlan until this is resolved. If they provide a remedy, then the rating will be high. If not, then we will certainly share our concerns on social media.

Still Charging me after processing the euthanasia claim and cancellation of my plan.
Terrible, when I wanted to cancel my plan, the agent used manipulation, “I would hate to see you cancel and then not have the money to help your pet.”
When I called to confirm the total coverage for my dogs hospital stay and blood transfusions that resulted in my dish death, the agent told me, “to have a wonderful day.” When I explained that in times like these some sensitivity is required, my beloved dog was in hospital dying and I didn’t have the $10,000 to save his life.” She hung up on me.
My dog was euthanized, they processed the claim on April 30th, cancelled my insurance as a result and still billed me in May.
The manager keeps calling me to talk about my issues, leaves her name but no extension to reach her. I have called several times but not knowing her extension makes the calls futile. This is a poorly run company, take your business elsewhere.

Excedllent company. Excellent Service
I have found PetsPlusUs agents to be very knowledgable and helpful. I have had several policies over the years and while a couple of my pets have been very healthy and therefore the policy wasn't used, I have had other pets who sadly have needed to lean heavily on the policy purchased. I am so happy with my policies and will always recommend this provider.

It was the most horrible service I’ve experienced!
I purchased insurance for my dog back in may 2020. I was informed on my policy that my dog would be covered for any type of medical problems such as vaccination, medication, illness, injury and infections. My dog suffered an ear infection in June and I had contacted the customer service to report the infection with receipt. It cost me about $500 in total for the full process and when I contacted customer service they made some inexcusable comment about them not covering it even though I was informed on the policy that they cover the insurance and so I was obviously upset about the matter and after spending 2 hour on the phone with customer service we came to no conclusion. After paying them $67.80 every month for no reason I decided to cancel my policy during that call. So I cancelled my policy in the month of June 2020 and like a lot of people I’m one of those who doesn’t check their statements and I checked this past month which was April of 2021 and I have been getting charged the whole time since last June when I requested to cancel the policy. So I contact the customer service again in regard to this process and not only they refused to reimburse me the funds they denied that I even contacted them about the cancellation. They said the only thing they can do is cancel my policy and that’s about it. So after all this I agreed to the cancellation and I thought the least they could do is reimburse me which didn’t happen and after them saying they will cancel and send me a confirmation about the cancellation I didn’t receive any confirmation about the cancellation . So I contacted them back the following day about the confirmation and the representative said that they have no documents or information about the cancellation of my request. I strongly don’t recommend this pet insurance for anybody because they are the biggest scam insurance company I have ever dealt with and wouldn’t want anyone else getting scammed.
