Very upset and $4,000 in debt
I've been a client for 6 years with my dog and never had a problem until I got coverage for my cat.
They are declining coverage for any diarrhea related illness even though he was never diagnosed by a veterinary professional. I was paying my premiums for over a year for my cat and was surprised to find out I was not covered. I am currently in debt $4,000 because they will not cover.
I've tried speaking with two supervisors and both have not been responsive. It's really impossible to talk to anyone and have them follow through. The first supervisor needed to speak to my vet, my vet reached out and she never called her back and or replied to my vets email. The second supervisor I have been in contact with since October 5, and I have sent 4 check-in emails. Only one was answered and stated claims is very overwhelmed and she will follow up. That last communication was October 29.
I'm so disappointed because their whole mission statement is "were here when you need us and when your pet needs us" I can not afford surprise thousand dollar vet visits so I thought I was being smart but I have paid my premiums and now being declined.
