Absolute Scam
Didn't cover a single claim I made for my less than 1 year old dog. Absolutely a waste of money and a scam.

The best decision I made after bringing home my new puppy!
I’m so so so happy I choose to go with PetsPlusUs pet insurance, I would and I do recommend them to everyone who is considering pet insurance and definitely if your bringing home a new puppy! I can’t tell you how much peace of mind I had when my puppy ate something he shouldn’t have and we had an emergency hospital stay, I didn’t hesitate to leave him and had I not had the insurance I would have had to put my financial situation before my puppy’s care.
I recommend PetsPlusUs for the following reasons,
1) immediately underwrite the policy, so from day one you are aware of any policy exemptions that would be considered pre-existing.
2) I’ve never had a claim denied
3) the Veterinary Clinic submits on my behalf and I’m reimbursed within 2-3 weeks
4) I’ve had several claims for both accidents and illness and my premiums have not increased with my annual renewal which is automatically renewed which is awesome!
5) my premiums are very affordable I looked at several other options and most were ridiculously high premiums, it costs me more to fill my vehicle with fuel than it does to pay my monthly premiums!
The only way they could improve would be to offer direct billing.

Waste of money
I signed up since there was a discount as a Costco membership holder. I haven't gotten my claim money, and it's been several months, and I haven't heard from them despite emailing. Currently paying $40 a month for absolutely nothing.

CO pay AND deductible.
Not only do you have a $400 deductible but they charge you 20% copay as well on the same claim. My claim had two visits and because the 2nd visit was after the policy renewal, they charged me another $400 deductible. An $1800 claim payed me $650
Monthly Cost
Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
There is no upper age limit.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.
Exclusions
All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement.
All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.

Wellness or preventative care, unless a Flex Care plan is added
