Great Company

I work with a lot of pet insurance companies through work and decided on Pets Plus Us. They have had great service, very reliable. I've never had a claim that I thought was wrongly denied. I find their prices reasonable compared to other companies. I like that they pay for exam fees, and rehab. I also love their underwriting service where they will tell you exactly what is pre-existing and not covered based on your pet's medical history. And if the coverage isn't to your liking, you can easily cancel before you even get charged. Customer service has always been great.

Easy, friendly, fast, reliable - absolute must!!

Having 3 labs I have had many claims processed by Pets Plus Us. Each and every time has been very easy and timely without hassle. I highly recommend Pets Plus to give you peace of mind knowing you are covered should the need arise. I look at pet insurance as being OHIP or Medicare for your pets. (Necessary!!!) Thank you Pets Plus Us for always being there for my fur babies....

Monthly Cost

Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. There is no upper age limit.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.

Exclusions

All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement. All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
