Best pet insurance, using it for 3 years already

Communication is great (minimal wait times to speak with someone), however a high dollar claim was balked upon multiple times. I resubmitted the same documentation for my dog’s claim (approx. $22k) each time they requested “more” documentation and they stretched it out to the last possible day (day 41). Other than that I can’t complain. Would give them 4.5 stars because of that, but unable to do so. Positive overall experience, with the understanding that high dollar claims take extra time on their side. Next time I will definitely option for the rendering of payment directly to my veterinarian clinic instead of having to put the money out up front, anticipating waiting for the 41 or 42 day maximum. Have had multiple claims in the past, lower than $1,000 that were reimbursed within 7-10 days. Knowing what I know, I still wouldn’t opt for any other pet insurance service.

I absolutely love Pets Best. Love the quick uploads, have dealt with customer service which was pleasant, reviewing of claims is quick and payment made back is done quickly also. I highly recommend Pets Best to everyone I know.

Pets Best was helpful in processing my claim when my sweet boy passed. It covered a lot of the testing and they were proactive in reimbursing me for the months I had paid after his passing. It was very helpful for them to handle this when I didn't think to. It's been hard missing my pup and the whole process was seamless.

We adopted our 2 year old dog on 7/8 and I enrolled in Pets Best the next day. Our dogs first vet appointment was on 7/29 and I submitted my first claim which was approved in two days. I’ve since had two more claims the same week, another was approved and there’s one claim left. I’ve been happy with Pets Best thus far.
