Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

So yesterday I accidentally cancelled my pet's insurance because my brother was moving out and hoping to take our family dog with him. My brother didn't realize until he was walking our dog that the development he just moved into had a small dog only policy (under 10lbs) and that there was no way he can take our dog with him. Today (less than 24 hours later) I called back Pet's Best to tell them the dog was staying with me and they said they couldn't change the cancellation I put through and if I wanted to get a new policy they get me one but any issues she had before would be considered pre-existing conditions and they would no longer cover it. After expressing how upset I was with their answer all the customer service rep could say was "Well that is your fault you cancelled". If your pet is like a child to you as it is to me this proves they don't care about you or your child so they can go f*ck themselves.

No one answers your phone regardless of which option I choose. Instead of a voice saying your call is very important to us, just say nobody here cares that you’ve been on hold for thirty minutes.

No return email, no phones answered only prompts telling you to use the web site. No customer service.

Like all of us, we get insurance hoping not to use it, but are so happy to have it when we need it. I have had a policy on my dog with PetsBest for over sever years, and they have been amazing on all preventative and illness care. Simple and prompt claims process.

2 different dogs in a row they wouldn’t cover because I put in the claim before the policy kicked in. After 7 months, really?!? They also picked everything apart and kept having me send in the same invoices over over saying dogs name wasn’t on it when it clearly was.
