I was told to never get pet insurance

I was told to never get pet insurance, that it wasn't worth it. So glad I didn't listen and got Pet's Best. I never wanted to have to use it, but now that I have, I am grateful for the quick responses and communication I have received. Very happy.

Quick service

I submitted my claim on 9/4/24 which was very easy to submit. My money was deposited into my checking account on 9/18/24. I also received emails when my claim was submitted and when it was processed. How was that for quick service!! I have 3 rescued Pit Bull's, and they are all insured at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend Pets Best Insurance.

The wait times on hold to speak to…

The wait times on hold to speak to someone are a little ridiculous, a suggestion would be a person to be able to be called back, waited 30 min, got someone they got disconnected on their end, waited another 30 min on hold, then I gave up!! This needs to be fixed

They closed my claim the first time…

They closed my claim the first time saying they didn't receive all of the documents without reaching back out to me. Then reopened it after I questioned it but didn't pay all of it. Will be shopping for new insurance.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
